Who is Andrew Feemster?Andrew was born in the small town of Odessa, Texas in 1981. He and his family moved to Dallas shortly thereafter. His grandfather Kenneth Spurgin introduced Andrew to magic. Kenneth liked to show magic at church, to friends, and family. Practically anyone who met Andrew quickly recognized his passion for magic. It wouldn't be unusual for his family to see magic constantly. Andrew let the art of magic consume him and began serious study of sleight of hand at age fifteen. At sixteen Andrew began working as demonstrator and manager of the infamous Magicland in Dallas, TX. He remained the counter demonstrator there until the age of twenty-two. It was during those seven years that Andrew tightly honed his technical skill and performance methodologies. He would spend hours researching performance, history and philosophy, constantly experimenting in every field of magic. Andrew was very fortunate to be exposed to magic on and off the clock. He would spend hours practicing and perfecting his routines. Andrew enjoyed the copious amount of talent, literature, lecturers and new ideas the Dallas circuit provided. He became encapsulated in magic and his hard work did not go unnoticed. Andrew soon established himself as a top entertainer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and across the state performing for numerous corporations and restaurants. He worked as the house magician for Dave & Busters in Dallas/Frisco and remained with the company until 2002. Andrew was even called upon by The Make A Wish Foundation to perform in the parks of New York City with other recognized young magicians from across the United States. One of Andrew's favorite moments in his career was traveling Eastern and Western Europe sharing his unique brand of magic with seven countries. He has been very fortunate to meet and befriend many of the great thinkers in magic. Often Andrew spends hours in session with these performers sharing and learning ideas. He has invented several magic effects that have been marketed to magicians and sold across the United States. Always searching for new ground Andrew has recently moved to Austin to share his unbelievable talent with the state's capital city.
